![]() Interim Manager or Contractor Life as an interim manager can be a lonely life at times, where assignments in the majority of instances originate from either a business crisis or even of a more torpor origin in some complex service delivery instances. Nevertheless being able to make a significant contribution in either a crisis or torpor environment however, is something that all good interim managers are able to do well and with ease. However we all know that you don’t need a hammer to crack a walnut; and I believe that neither do clients need a contractor when they’re looking for an interim manager. Because only a professional interim service provider can provide thier clients with effective fast track interim solutions because that’s what interim professionals do. Now the reason I raise this sensitive paradox i.e. interim manager v contractor is because the big problem that most clients face these days is that the market place is simply awash with so called interim managers and therein resides one of the gravest scenarios that seasoned interim professionals like myself somehow have to continually deal with, overcome and/or come to terms with. You see whilst I don’t have a problem with any individual doing their level best to earn a living during these challenging times, I do nevertheless have a very real problem with inappropriately prepared individuals calling themselves interims when they are not even remotely from an interim manager disposition. What really is unacceptable however is such individuals invariably going on to indiscriminately discredit the credibility of interim professionals with inappropriate service delivery which in its own way is helping to create a negative perception of the interim profession. Which is crazy in reality because; interim service professionals and contract support professionals operate to and hence offer; completely different skill sets, service provision outputs and have a completely different outlook on life, their career and their relationship with thier clients. As an interim, I’m not in the least bit interested in permanent employment, building a career within my client's business operations or participating in any business environment where there is no clear service delivery milestone or exit date in place. Because my interim career like every other seasoned interim professional has always been based upon; objective, pragmatic and fast track service delivery whilst leaving the day to day politics of the business to those more inclined to participate in such activities. As an interim my role is to provide exceptional: fast track technical, strategic, operational and commercial acumen to my clients and that's what I do with ease, therein helping them to maximum a positive return in terms of their investment in my services. A very open and two way process which is always based upon win-win, simply because that's the only way that I'm prepared to supply my interim services. I don't haggle, I don't propagate intrigue and I certainly don't allow anyone to exploit my very rare capabilities as part of some silly “what's the cheapest you're prepared to work for, game play”. You see; I personally value myself including my exceptional track record that speaks loud and clear about who I am and what I've consistently achieved for all my clients through-out my career and if my day rate is all that any prospective client is interested in then experience suggests that their eyes are too big for their belly. Look, I'm a straight talking professional with exceptional business and people skills who doesn’t charge a king’s ransom for my services, therefore if you're looking for a seasoned and highly experienced interim professional to come in and support your business then you should reach out and [ contact ] me today because I remain committed at all times to being able to:-
In essence I do precisely what I say on my box, no froth, no politics and certainly no desire to perpetuate my assignment, I'm just a highly considered and consummate interim services professional and I enjoy making the sorts of difference to my clients business that only a true interim services provider like myself can achieve. In summation where can you hire a highly personable and highly experienced and cunsummate; facilities, construction, asset, property, project engineering, contract and business support professional with over 30 years experience from shop floor to board rooms through-out the UK, Middle East & North America for only £55.00 per hour ltd plus expenses?
